<image:caption>Cody Backer (Denver) A Denver “native,” Cody has lived on both coasts — spending his formative years on the East Coast after his military service, before COVID brought him back home, where he belongs. Service has been a constant thread throughout his life, from volunteering and leading in his community as a youth, all the way through his eight years of Marine Corps service. After the Corps, Cody built a decade-long career in management consulting and digital transformation, earned his BS from Georgetown University, and is currently pursuing his MBA at CU Boulder. He’s also the published author of From Boots to the Boardroom: Reinventing Your Career and Life After the Military. When he’s not working, he’s taking money from his friends on the golf course, skiing, or loudly supporting Denver’s sports teams. He brings that same competitive fire to everything he does — including the VLDG.</image:caption>
